Elemis has launched into three more UK spas – Aqua Sana at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest, Esya Spa at Retallack Resort Cornwall and Kallima Club Spa at the Hilton London, Syon Park.

New ITVBe reality show Spa Wars hit our screens on June 28. The show, made by the producers of Gogglebox, sees salon owners visit each other’s businesses and pay what they think its services are worth in a bid to be crowned the best in their region. The show will run for eight weeks and PB award-winning salon The Potting Shed Spa will feature on it.

Caci International training courses are now accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT).

The quality of the company’s training has been certified to a sufficiently high standard that for the first time advanced microcurrent, microdermabrasion and LED light therapy can be delivered by Level 2 therapists.

Beauty group High Definition has added three new training locations to its education portfolio – pop-up sites Purley Training Academy in Purley, Croydon, and The Secret Warehouse in Liverpool; and full-time site Reflections Training Academy in Bristol.

Aysun Mut has been appointed spa director for Espa Life at Corinthia.

Mut, who was previously interim spa director, will be responsible for guiding the spa’s operation and building its reputation. Mut replaces Laura Vallati in the role.
