Despite this, the average treatment room occupancy remained strong at 65%, a positive indicator of continued client demand.
Looking ahead, many salon owners are concerned about the impact of the new Autumn Budget, with 68% anticipating a significantly negative impact on their finances. This is paired with 93% of owners expressing concerns about the scheduled increase to the National Minimum Wage, which will likely influence hiring plans.
