MUAs battled it out during PB London’s two-day Make-Up Competition to be crowned the best in the business. Find out who made the grade

Professional and learner MUAs put their skills to the test in our Make-Up Competition at Professional Beauty London in October, with five MUAs scooping the top prizes. The two-day contest, run by competition director and session make-up artist Lan Nguyen Grealis, consisted of five categories – Editorial, Film, Creative Influence, Bridal and Bodypainting.

The categories were designed to reflect the everchanging skills needed for today’s MUAs, with all who took part able to gain invaluable feedback from our judges, who are some of the best make-up artists in the business. The 2021 PB London Make-Up Competition winners are:

Winner: Ella Carr

Second: Adwoa Busia

Third: Becky Voss

Category: Film – Pro

Theme: A Modern Take on a Classic Character

Winner: Tasmyn Nicola

Second: Karina Szilagyi

Category: Bridal

Winner: Deimante Kondrotiene

Second: Maria Khan

Third: Anoushka Kowalska

Category: Creative Influence

Theme: Professional Beauty

Winner: Adriana Herran

Second: Minaz Mawjee

Category: Bodypainting – Learner

Theme: Modern Art
