// The BH Group is investing £7m into The Swan Hotel & Spa, based in Newby Bridge, Cumbria, to upgrade its spa into a luxury destination in the North West. Plans include a hydrotherapy pool, thermal rooms, relaxation areas, new treatment rooms, and a café serving champagne.

// Suncare brand Ultrasun and skincare brand SkinSense by Abi Cleve have announced the launch of the ARClight, which will run annually. The initiative is offering an independent black-owned skincare brand access to a range of free business support over a 12-month period.

// Specops Software has discovered that 54% of businesses reported an increase in cyber-attack threats while working from home. 96% said ransomware is their biggest cyber security concern, especially when remote working. The survey was conducted with 2,043 business owners in 11 sectors.

// Last month, facialist Teresa Tarmey held a Facial Yoga Masterclass, focusing on the muscles in the face to improve skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles. The sessions were hosted by Victoria Adams, who has worked for 10 years as a yoga teacher, and health coach.

// Vogue has revealed that, on her 2018 wedding day, Meghan Markle was wearing CND Shellac. The nails were done at West London boutique DryBy London, with one layer of the brand’s nude Unmasked followed by two coats of soft-pink Negligee. The Duchess chose the Cashmere Wrap shade for her pedicure.
