World Wellness Weekend gears up for September 19-20

The fourth annual World Wellness Weekend will run on September 19-20, encouraging wellness businesses worldwide to participate by asking their clients to take a “Wellness Pledge” and make wellness a priority in their lives.

“What professionals do in spas, beauty salons and fitness clubs is essential for the wellbeing of humanity,” said World Wellness Weekend founder Jean-Guy de Gabriac in an open letter to the industry, ahead of the event.

“In these times of uncertainty for humanity, the most important factor of your success is not location, but vocation,” he added.

“Together, let’s make some noise in the media about how important wellness is. Let’s make people sign up online and organise an urban run or host a yoga session in a park or on the beach.

“Let’s make them want to walk, run, hike, bike, dance and to experience the joy of how great it feels to be well.”
