Average Brit spends more than £18,000 on make-up during their lifetime
British women shell out £18,734 on make-up during their lifetime, spending on average £493 on new products each year, discovered a survey by ecommerce business FalseEyelashes.
The research, which looked at the attitudes of women aged 18 to 30 towards their physical appearance, also found that most have on average £197 worth of products in their make-up bag at any one time.
Eyeshadow palettes are the numberone make-up item Brits spend most money on, averaging £39.50, followed by foundation (£32.50), lipstick (£28), mascara (£24) and highlighter (£22).
