Are you seeing a rise in cases of adult acne?

@twinoaksbeauty: “Yes, I really have – they’re often people that have struggled with their skin since mid/ late teens, many with hormonal conditions such as PCOS. Some have gone to their GPs with little help given other than Roaccutane and antibiotics, which don’t work for everyone, with the former not being a popular option for many.

“They feel helpless and lost with so many influencers showing their daily routines and naming products, many clients come to me for the first time yet they’re all using the same products they’ve seen on TikTok!

“The relief they feel and gratitude they give is overwhelming when I explain all the different factors that may be causing their acne, what things we can look into changing and implementing into their life, even before we talk products and a plan of action. They’ve never been told this stuff or had it explained how these small changes can help. I feel so, so privileged to help them on their skincare journey, which I explain is a marathon and not a sprint ”
