Cynosure FlexSure

The latest addition to the brand’s TempSure 300-watt platform is FlexSure – a wrappable radiofrequency (RF) applicator for flexible, hands-free and non-invasive RF treatments on all skin types.

With peel-and-stick, single-use applicators equipped with six customisable zones available in multiple sizes and real-time temperature-sensing capabilities, the FlexSure applicator curves to the client’s body. The treatment is safe for all skin types – without BMI restrictions – on multiple areas of the body, including the abdomen, flanks, back, arms, bottom, thighs and above the knees.

The device’s customised guided user interface features both a standard and advanced mode. Therapists have the option of either staying in standard mode or customising each of the six applicator zones to a specific temperature based on the client’s needs, offering varying levels of control for maximum efficiency. Cynosure recommends a minimum of three 15-minute sessions per treatment area using the device.

111 Harley St. HydroFacial Plus

111 Harley Street Clinic has launched HydroFacial Plus –a device that uses water-based technology to cleanse, exfoliate and brighten skin, while also allowing the therapist to layer in certain 111Skin professional products for deeper penetration and efficacy.

The device delivers a non-ablative and non-invasive treatment that works to extract deeply-lodged impurities and hydrate the dermis using hydrodynamic technology. The suction technology also has additional lymphatic drainage and microcirculation benefits, reducing water retention for a more sculpted appearance. The device features five add-on handles that can be used interchangeably, depending on the client’s skin needs.

The carbon oxygen handle induces skin oxygenation by stimulating a body response that sends oxygen to the treated area, and at the same time exfoliates; the ice-heat handle delivers a warming then cooling sensation to repair skin cells and strengthen skin elasticity; and the radiofrequency handle uses vibration frequencies to send radio waves into the subcutaneous tissue, promoting collagen regeneration and skin tightening.

Other handles include the water-dimensional oxygen spray handle, which delivers water-soluble products to the skin using high-speed jetting; and the ultrasonic handle, which produces a mechanical vibration wave to infuse ingredients into the skin.
