INTERNATIONAL NAIL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Seasoned techs and industry newbies can showcase their manicure, nail art and permanent polish skills in our two-day championship, taking place at PB London at ExCel on February 25–26. New for 2018 is the Top Tech Dip Systems category, where techs will be required to use the medium to create beautiful enhancements.

WARPAINT MAKE-UP CHAMPIONSHIPS

Make-up artists can demonstrate their skills in application and creativity at the Warpaint Make-up Championships. This year, each category has a 1988 theme in keeping with Professional Beauty London’s 30th birthday celebrations (read more on page 64).

CATEGORIES AND THEMES:

• Runway: Christian Lacroix

• Film & TV: character from a 1988 Oscarnominated movie

• Bodypainting: 1988 – the summer of love; acid house and the rave generation

• Real Beauty: spring wedding 1988

THE COLLEGE CUP

The award will be given to the highest-placing college across the make-up categories. Colleges are awarded points for their students who place first, second and third, with the establishment with the highest total taking home the prize.
