Skin Health Spa and Pulse Light Clinics among top for online clinic searches

Skin Health Spa, Skinbase and Pulse Light Clinics are among the highestranking aesthetic brands and clinics in terms of online brand reach in the UK.

Data research company Inside Online combined the number of consumer searches with a score representing the brand’s engagement across social channels to give a picture of its online reach.

Skin Health Spa was the highestranking non-invasive aesthetic clinic group on the list, coming in ninth with 1,600 searches per month and a social score of 25.79.

Microdermabrasion brand Skinbase was next with 1,000 searches per month and a social score of 29.61, and Pulse Light Clinics came 11th with 1,900 searches but a lower social score of 13.92. The most-searched treatment was microdermabrasion with 27,100 monthly searches.

// Elemis has expanded its partnership with Bannatyne spas, having entered five more of its properties across the country, including the recently refurbished Kingsford Park in Colchester. The brand will launch into Bannatyne’s Chingford and Shrewsbury spas this December.

// “Excellent customer support” is the strongest driver behind brand loyalty for Generation X, says a report by OnBuy.com. People born between the mid 1960s and early 1980s are also more likely to use a brand’s official website to make a purchase when shopping online rather than a third-party retailer.

// British skincare brand Katherine Daniels has announced training dates to teach accounts the protocol for its new Skin Perfecting Anti-Oxidant Treatment. Training manager Sarah-Jane Trussell will perform the training throughout autumn in locations including Glasgow, Huddersfield and Gloucester.

// KAM Hair and Body Spa in Scotland won a Best of Britain 2017 Award from energy price comparison specialist Love Energy Savings. The salon was chosen for its ongoing involvement in charity and community projects, as well as its business ethos and customer service.
