Spanish skincare brand Germaine de Capuccini has launched a new professional and retail product line called Sperience, along with 25 new treatment protocols. Sperience brings together a global range of ingredients and massage techniques, delivered through facials, body treatments and full-body rituals. It is divided into four themed ranges. Amazonian Discovery features the Vivid Awakening Facial alongside body treatments such as Vitality Renewal Exfoliation and the Papaya & Tagua Renewal Massage. Asian Journey has body treatments like the Matcha Renewal Exfoliation and Serenity Sanctuary Massage. African Safari introduces massages including Baobab & Cacao Renewal and Sweet Maternity Flow. Mediterranean Escape includes a broader variety of body treatments, many using scented candles or pomegranate-based formulas. A key feature of the range is the patented Actimood programme, developed using neuroscience, based on research into how scent influences emotional states.

Elleebana Lash Lift & Tint
The lowdown: Elleebana is an Australian brand that specialises in lash lifts and extensions and claims to offer the world’s fastest lash lift treatment, One Shot, which works in as little as 20 minutes for the two-step process. However, each lash lift is bespoke for the client so timings vary depending on lash thickness and growth pattern.
The experience: If you know me, you know I love a lash lift, so when I was offered the chance to try Elleebana’s at Everlasting Salon in Golders Green, I was straight up the Northern Line. As I entered the stunning pink and gold salon, which is also home to Elleebana’s training academy, I was met by master artist Angela Tatiana Moreno. Once I’d filled in a consultation form, she cleansed my lashes and assessed them. I prefer a dramatic look so she chose the S curl guard, saying she would have used an M had I wanted a more subtle effect. Moreno told me all about the One Shot lifts but said because my lashes are fine she would use the gentler Elleeplex Profusion Lash Lift system which has a longer processing time. She prefers to do a gentler lift on a first visit and only work up to the One Shot once she knows how a client’s lashes react or if they have strong thick hairs, as it involves a high-strength solution. Moreno asked me if I’d been using a lash serum and said she could tell because my lashes are growing in different directions. After applying the shield, she carefully positioned the lashes, applied the lifting solution to process, then applied the setting solution and, once that had taken effect, reviewed the results. As my growth serum had caused the lashes on the outer corner of my right eye to grow almost downwards, they had lifted less so she reapplied lifting solution for a further three minutes, being careful to work only on those corner lashes, before removing, setting, then applying a tint to all lashes.
The verdict: I loved the final result, an even lift that opened up my eyes and looked noticeable without looking fake – Moreno said you should never be able to see the waterline. Her attention to detail and obvious knowledge was reassuring as, like many clients, I get anxious about someone new working on my lashes.
Business benefits: If your client has coarse lashes, or you already know how their lashes will react, the super-fast Elleebana One Shot system allows you to treat them in 20 to 30 minutes which can be a great way to fit in more clients. Either way, the Elleeplex Hyaluronic Boost Serum retail product makes for an obvious homecare sale.

Sinclair’s V-Lift treatment by the V20
The lowdown: The V Series is Sinclair’s multi-technology platform, which combines radiofrequency (RF) and light therapies, each delivered through a different handpiece.
The V-ST handpiece tightens and lifts, using optimised RF energy to gently heat the skin, boost collagen, and restore elasticity. For resurfacing and scar smoothing, the VFR handpiece delivers fractional RF treatment that targets texture, tone and acne scars, while the V-IPL handles hair removal, pigmentation, vascular issues, rejuvenation and acne, with built-in cooling.
The experience: I headed over to The Cosmetic Centre in Farringdon, London, where I told the team what was bothering me – sagging cheeks and that dull, uneven skin tone that serums just don’t seem to fix. They put together a four-session treatment plan on the V20 to tackle my concerns.
The following week, I was booked in for my first treatment, which combined IPL with the V-ST handpiece, which uses optimised RF (CORE) technology to deliver precise RF energy to the deeper layers of the skin, triggering natural processes that tighten skin and reduce wrinkles. After a thorough cleanse, the IPL began its work and felt like a gentle elastic band flicking over my face. Once this 10-minute procedure was done, it was time for the V-ST, which delivers small, controlled bursts of heat energy, allowing the pulse to be set at the appropriate width and depth. As it was rolled across my skin, it felt surprisingly comforting and warm. I also had one session of just the V-FR treatment on the following visit, which gently pulled at my skin and needled it – I actually enjoyed the sensation!
Immediately after each treatment, I was a little pink and my skin felt warm but looked fine to go about my daily tasks. I was advised to not wash my face for 24 hours and not to use my usual skincare including exfoliants or retinoids.
The verdict: The day after each treatment, my skin appeared dewy and glowing and I had lots of compliments. Although some people get flaking skin, especially after the V-FR treatment – I was lucky enough to have none.
The treatment is comfortable, requires no downtime and is safe for all skin types, making it an ideal choice for anyone seeking a non-invasive solution to common signs of aging. One of the main reasons I wanted to try this treatment was because it’s low maintenance and non-invasive but provides lasting results. Two months on, I’m enjoying seeing the results develop.

Skinova Elite
The lowdown: Skinova Elite (also known as LDM Triple) is a non-invasive ultrasound treatment making waves in Korea’s skin clinics – and now gaining traction in the UK too. Created by German brand Wellcomet and distributed in the UK by Anglo Arab Trading, the device uses triple-frequency ultrasound (1MHz, 3MHz, 10MHz and 19MHz) to deliver a subdermal micro-massage. The treatment promises collagen stimulation, improved circulation, reduced inflammation and enhanced skin barrier function – all without pain, downtime or trauma.
The experience: I visited Future Care Medical in London to trial the Skinova Elite facial. Consultant dermatologist Dr Shin-Young Cho, the clinic’s medical director, greeted me and talked me through the science. As a Korean-trained dermatologist, she was passionate about how popular and trusted this treatment is in Korea – not just for rejuvenation, but also for treating concerns like acne, rosacea, scarring and postprocedure healing.
The treatment itself was carried out by senior aesthetician Lisa Bowkett. After a thorough cleanse, she applied a cool, clear ultrasound gel to my face, then moved the LDM device across my skin in slow strokes. The sensation was deeply relaxing – almost like a warm stone massage but without the heat – and completely painless. Bowkett explained that although the treatment was only 20 minutes, the regenerative effects would continue working under the surface for days afterwards.
The verdict: My skin felt more hydrated and had a visible glow immediately after the session – perfect for a pre-event boost. Over the following week, I noticed a calmer complexion and a subtle tightening effect, particularly around my jawline. I can see why three to six sessions are recommended to really build on the results.
Business benefits: With increasing interest in Korean beauty and non-invasive tech, Skinova Elite offers salons and skin clinics a results-driven facial that can be tailored to a range of concerns, from inflammation to ageing. With sessions lasting just 15-20 minutes and no recovery time, it’s easy to slot into a busy appointment book and for clients to pop in on a lunchbreak.
