Performance meets wellness

How can spas stay relevant in a results-led world? IMAGE Skincare UK blends clinical innovation with education and spa ritual to help futureproof the spa experience

SAVOIR SOCIALS

Today’s spa guest wants more than relaxation; they want visible results. With the rise of ingredient-savvy consumers and a growing demand for targeted, high-performance treatments, spa managers face a challenge: how to maintain their sensory, holistic identity while meeting the expectations of the result-driven client. Image Skincare’s latest partnership with heritage wellness destination Champneys is a powerful example of how spas can evolve without losing their essence. Launched at Champneys Tring in Hertfordshire, Image Skincare occupies both a dedicated treatment room and retail space, delivering a fully integrated skincare experience.

Training partner

This collaboration extends beyond the treatment menu; at the heart of the partnership is a commitment to professional development. Champneys College will now include Image Skincare into its Level 4 curriculum.

Students will learn advanced peel protocols and multimodality approaches using Image professional products. This will ensure that clients get the visible results they desire. The brand is further supporting students with access to starter kits, plus training in retail and business development.

“Our partnership with Image Skincare reflects a shared belief in the power of education, innovation, and real skin health,” says Champneys spa director Laura Sheridan. “At Champneys, we are always seeking to enhance the guest experience while supporting our spa teams with the tools they need to thrive. With Image Skincare, we’re introducing not just a results-driven brand, but a true education-first approach that aligns with our values as an industry leader.”

Later this summer, the rollout continues at the Champneys City Spas in Enfield and St Albans, extending Image Skincare’s presence into the urban wellness space. The Champneys partnership offers a seamless blend of clinical credibility and spa comfort, something many skincare brands struggle to achieve.

“Education-led partnerships are what set Image Skincare apart”, says Kate Ayling, finance and operations director of Image Skincare UK. “We don’t just deliver product, we provide structure, support and training to help spas grow their treatment and retail sales confidently”.

Supporting spas

To support visibility and growth, Image Skincare offers access to an in-house content creation service. Designed to enhance the social media presence of spa partners, these tailored content days include treatment filming, branded assets and storytelling support. Equipping spas with ready-to-share digital content enables spas to boost client engagement and online bookings.

Partners benefit from centralised support from the Image Skincare team, including in-person and online training, retail merchandising, promotional planning, marketing tools and visits from a business development manager.

For spas looking to enhance retention, upskill their teams and increase profitability, Image Skincare offers more than a product – it offers a partnership. As client expectations shift, the spas that thrive will be those that invest in education, performance and partnership. For Champneys, it’s a future-focused move. For Image Skincare, it’s the model they have built their business on.
