Winners included The Beauty Place Hove for Salon of the Year UK, Alexandra Blaikie from De’Luxe Skin Clinic as Therapist of the Year, Denise’s Beauty & Skin Clinic for Green Salon of the Year and The Skin & Make Up Studio Ennis for Community Champion.

Spa Life UK

The Old Thorns Hotel & Resort, Hampshire

Spa Life UK brought together spa professionals from across the UK in Hampshire for a series of scheduled meetings between buyers and suppliers, plus a conference and The Good Spa Guide Awards. Eve went along to catch up with spa directors and brands and hear from speakers including Jane Kitchen on Reinventing Wellness Traditions and Christine Clinton speaking about Wellness Through the Lens of Prevention. Away from the main conference stage there was a “silent” stage on the exhibition floor where delegates wore headphones to listen to panels, including a session on Unlocking Hidden Revenue from your Spa with Nigel Franklyn, Amy Moore and Laura Collis. Meanwhile, the award winners included Turkish Baths Harrogate for Best Traditional Spa Experience and Ragdale Hall as Best Spa for Wellness.

The Skin Diary Age Defence launch

Jeru, London

The Skin Diary’s latest launch is a new triple-action moisturising day cream powered by Phytoshield DNA Repair, encapsulated sunscreen and antioxidants. Over a delicious three-course meal, PB’s Kezia Parkins was one of the first to hear from the dermatologists behind The Skin Diary about the science, research and formulation journey that led to Age Defence. The evening was chaired by Julie Scott, who recently joined the team as strategic advisor and lead KOL, while guests heard from founder Dr Clare Kiely, alongside Dr Tamara Griffiths and Dr BeiBei Du-Harpur – all leading dermatologists.

Image Skincare Vol.u.lift launch dinner

The Broadcaster, London

Set against the backdrop of The Broadcaster restaurant in White City, Image Skincare’s launch dinner for Vol.u.lift marked the debut of the brand’s newest innovation – the first skincare product specifically designed to target volume loss associated with “Ozempic face”, formulated by a plastic surgeon.

Guests including PB’s features editor Ellen Cummings gathered for a three-course dinner and themed drinks, with the evening’s spotlight on two insightful presentations. Michele Snyder, Image Skincare’s chief marketing and innovation officer, shared the brand’s vision for performance-led solutions, while Professor Syed Haq looked into the science behind Vol.u.lift, highlighting its ingredients, volumising action and early clinical trial results. The dinner sparked a timely discussion around the evolving needs of clients and how topical skincare can complement medical treatments.

Pause Live’s Future of Healthcare event

Home Grown, London

The team behind Pause Live hosted their Future of Healthcare event at private members club Home Grown. The event brought together clinicians, health advocates and media to break taboos and shine a spotlight on underdiagnosed conditions that affect thousands of women. Between an action-packed day of discussions, the team launched the 2025 awareness campaign: “Know Your Normal”, a national call for women to form a better understanding of their bodies, trust their instincts and speak up when seeking the support they deserve when it comes to intimate and hormonal health. During the second half of the day, functional medicine and longevity experts united to discuss their vision for the future of healthcare, to mark the launch of Future Patient and the Future Patient Congress. The day was full of laughter and storytelling – a testament to the power of women supporting women.
