House of Naf!

Instagram: @houseofnaf 116K

Naf! has just turned 10 and over that decade owner Tammy Koslowski has built her brand from a nail salon in Glasgow into a collaborative event space, academy and product lines for both consumers and professionals. The salon, situated in a converted Glasgow townhouse, makes a stunning backdrop for filming. The main Naf! Instagram page blends close-ups of attention-grabbing nail art with videos and carousels that give a snapshot of salon life and show the true personalities of the team behind the brand – including plenty of puppy pics. Throw in reels that give the Naf! take on viral trends and some engagement-grabbing giveaways, and you have a recipe for social success.

The Spa at Carden

You may think it’s easy to look good on social if you have the stunning facilities Carden Park is blessed with, but its accounts are about more than pretty pics. High-quality video shows the spa in its best light while clever captions keep it on-trend with a professional yet playful tone of voice. Collabs with local businesses bring strong engagement on competitions and promotions. The spa’s social is great at showing guest POV to give prospective clients a true feel for what to expect.

JM Medispa

Having won the Creative Recognition Award for its social media at Image Skincare’s recent salon awards, JM Medispa was recognised for its success in showcasing the talents and personalities of its team through fun and engaging videos. Owner Jessica Mee blocks out time in the team’s calendar to bulk-film content, which results in a mix of funny trending reels and more serene treatment and interiors videos. The team spirit and supportive atmosphere of the salon shine through, helping clients feel comfortable before they arrive.

Tan&Co

Tan&Co is a Soho-based skin clinic run by advanced nurse practitioner Teresa Tan. Her ethos lies in combining her expertise in aesthetic medicine with a passion for patient care and her social channels reflect that, with trending patient-facing reels such as “6 habits that transformed my skin in my 30s” and “Beauty propaganda I’m not falling for”.

Now a member of Black Skin Directory, Tan&Co is expert in treating concerns in skin of colour including post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, scarring and more and its social media evidences this through videos and imagery that feature a broad range of skin tones and results.

Monica Tolan the Skin Experts

Started back in 1980 by Monica Tolan, the two salons in Dublin and London are now run by her daughters Corinna and Rhona.

With a background in skin, Corinna Tolan is the face of the business and has made it her mission to make skincare advice accessible online with educational content, much of which is shared across her own accounts and the salons’. The channel also spotlights other experts in the team with reels that blend trending themes and sounds with serious skincare and ingredient advice as well as treatment and homecare demos.
