Ellisons showroom opening party
Coventry
Supplier Ellisons has opened a specialist beauty furniture showroom and held a launch party to celebrate. Guests, including PB editor Eve Oxberry went to Coventry to see the new space and catch up with industry professionals over a glass of prosecco. Ellisons chairman Paul Faulkner was joined by The High Sheriff of the West Midlands, Doug Wright MBE, who cut the ribbon to officially open the space. Other VIP guests included Corin Crane and Steve Harcourt from the C&W Chamber of Commerce. The showroom hosts furniture from Ellisons plus partners including Gharieni, REM and the new Japanese head spa by Hair and Nature (see page 66).
The Evolution of 3D
The Belfry Hotel and Resort, Warwickshire
3D Aesthetics hosted an exclusive event unveiling the brand’s new direction and commitment to innovation in aesthetics. In a collaborative space hosted by 3D’s managing director Roy Cowley, the event featured insights from brand partners such as Vagaro, Hydropeptide, Wigmore Medical, and Allskin Med. The agenda included the launch of 3D Aesthetics’ new Elite MD medical division and a first look at the brand’s latest equipment innovations. Guests, including Anna Dobbie, editor of PB’s sister magazine Aesthetic Medicine, learned about technology-accelerated skincare, the strategy behind new brand collaborations, new protocols such as combining microneedling, radiofrequency, and growth factors, and embracing blue ocean thinking, via concepts that allow you to operate without a high volume of competitors.
Inmode Allure launch
Akasha Wellbeing Spa at Hotel Café Royal, London
PB editor Eve Oxberry joined devices brand Inmode for the press launch of its Inmode Allure concept where Camilla Sanderson, Inmode UK’s national sales manager introduced a panel discussion about how the treatments are achieving red carpet-ready lifting and sculpting results. Panellists including facialists Lisa Franklin and Nilam Holmes, salon owner and skin specialist Emily Rose and facial aesthetics clinician Dr Nina Bal, explained how they deliver the treatments to their clients and the best combinations for optimum results. Guests were then treated to a facial in the hotel’s spa and you can read more about Eve’s verdict on the treatment on page 66.
Sensilis press launch
Barcelona
Deputy editor Kezia Parkins was invited to beautiful Barcelona with Dermofarm to celebrate the brand Sensilis, which is being distributed in the UK by Dermapure. Some of the biggest names in beauty press were in attendance including Alice Hart-Davis and Francesca Ogiermann-White as well as industry veterans such as EF Medispa founder Esther Fieldgrass. The trip included sunset cocktails at a decadent welcome dinner followed by an introduction to Dermofarm, its brands and its plans and projections for the future. On day two, guests were treated to a trip around the Sensilis factory to learn about formulating SPFs, followed by a gourmet sensory introduction to the brand’s hero products, all targeted to sensitive skin. In the evening there was a stunning underground gala event and dinner with the Sensilis Spanish team.
UK Launch of Keralase
Linnaean, London
Editorial assistant Erin Leybourne spent a morning at hair and beauty salon Linnaean with Seriderm for the UK launch of hair restoration treatment Keralase and a panel talk comprising Seriderm’s business director Kevin Williams, trichologist Shirley Rodriguez and dermatologist Dr Ellie Rashid. Williams shared his experience with the treatment while Rodriguez explained where she uses the treatment to help clients with pattern hair loss. Dr Rashid went into detail about the science behind the treatment and how it targets water in the skin to create channels so the serum can be better absorbed. Guests also watched a demonstration of the treatment then got scalp massages with the team from Linnaean.
Beyond Beauty: The Rituals of Self-Care and Empowerment
The Dolls London
Kezia was invited to join a panel at luxury boutique The Dolls London to discuss self-care beyond aesthetics, delving into the emotional, mental and physical rituals that help women feel empowered. Also on the panel were The Dolls founder Vanessa Fernandes and Dina El Adlani, founder of skincare brand Espérer, and it was moderated by event organiser Shanice Hoo-Mills, consulting founder of comms agency Kallure. Panellists shared how beauty, wellness and self-care intersect in their work and lives. The panel was part of a larger event centred around wellness and self-care, with flowing cocktails and canapés and live beauty demonstrations and education.
ZO Skin Health launch dinner
The Greenhouses, London
ZO Skin Health hosted an exclusive dinner event at private dining space The Greenhouses to celebrate the launch of its latest innovation: the Retinol + Blemish Complex. Attended by Kezia and features editor Ellen Cummings, the evening offered an elegant setting for industry guests to network and discover the science behind the brand’s newest blemish treatment. A highlight of the evening was a presentation by Dr Anna Hemming, founder and medical director of Thames Skin Clinic and Aesthetic Medicine Awards 2025 finalist, who introduced the new formula designed to target every stage of blemish formation while improving post-inflammatory lesions, offering a holistic solution for clear, healthy skin.
