Insider Beauty
Our exclusive monthly benchmarking stats for each sector of the market
LIPSY
Three years on from the start of the Covid pandemic, it seems the industry is picking up, as beauty businesses find their feet again. Nearly two-thirds of this month’s Insider respondents reported that that treatment business was better this March compared to the same time last year, while over half said that the retail side of their business was performing better. One way to boost retail income is through an online shop, so that your clients can purchase their favourite products whenever is convenient for them – yet online shops are something only 48% of respondents said that they had. A key aspect of building a successful beauty business is having something to aspire to – and quite often this comes from peers in the industry. When we asked who in the beauty industry inspired you the most, previous PB show stage speakers such as Andrew Hansford and Abigail James were among your favourites.
