Beautiful Minds joins industry together to support mental health

A new initiative is bringing the beauty industry together to help raise money for mental health charity Mind. The Beautiful Minds 2019 event, which is taking place from September 1–15, will see nail techs and therapists from across the country host fundraising activities to raise money for the charity. Beautiful Minds was founded by Chris Kitchen, marketing expert at hair and beauty booking system software company Book In Beautiful.

The two-week fundraising event is being supported by Nail Harmony director Georgie Smedley and her team, who distribute Gelish and manufacture All That Jazz, as well as by session nail tech Kirsty Meakin. A charity auction will take place at The Royal Hotel in Clacton on September 15. More than 40 beauty therapists signed up within the first 72 hours of Beautiful Minds 2019 being announced.
