Retail sales followed a similar trend, with a quarter of you seeing improvement and 40% maintaining year-on-year figures.
The topic of discount culture sparked strong opinions, with more than half (54%) of salon owners believing it devalues the industry. A further 29% said they avoid discounts entirely in their business model, reinforcing a wider commitment to pricing based on expertise. Meanwhile, 31% admitted to feeling pressure to offer treatments they don’t fully believe in – a reminder of the importance of staying true to your salon’s ethos.
