OPI x Wicked pre-release screening

Curzon Cinema, London

Deputy editor Kezia Parkins and editorial assistant Erin Leybourne joined nail brand OPI for the pre-release screening of the new Wicked movie. On arrival, they were greeted by OPI educator Belinda Price. The event was decked out with Wicked merch and cocktails and there was a beauty bar to get blowouts or manicures with the new Wicked collection.

They also had the actual dresses worn by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in the movie, which looked incredible up close. Before the movie, OPI associate director of brand marketing Spora Ndumbe made an introduction before playing clips of Erivo speaking about the importance of the nail art to her character, Elphaba. The movie was magnificent and afterwards Ndumbe introduced Shea Osei, the nail tech who made Erivo’s press-ons for the film.

Advanced Nutrition Programme networking event

IIAA head office, London Bridge

International Institute for Active Ageing (IIAA) toasted the festive season and showcased its Advanced Nutrition Programme supplement brand at an exclusive networking event. Features editor Ellen Cummings went along to IIAA’s swanky office overlooking London Bridge for the occasion, where Advanced Nutrition Programme was introduced by IIAA co-founder and managing director David Alpert, medical director Dr Gaby Prinsloo, and aesthetic doctor and GP Dr Christine Hall. Guests were treated to delicious canapés and champagne, as well as shade matching for makeup brand Et Al and a Christmas gift to take home.

Noel Nights

The Organic Pharmacy, Chelsea

Marking the season alongside the launch of a new product, The Organic Pharmacy hosted press and influencers at its Chelsea shop for an evening of festive fun. Guests, including PB’s Erin, were greeted by a live singer performing Christmas classics, and invited to have a personalised skin consultation with in-house skincare expert Dr Terry Loong. As part of the event, Erin sat down for a gift-wrapping masterclass, hosted by expert Jane Means. Using a range of gifted Organic Pharmacy products, attendees learned how to perfectly measure and wrap a straightforward box, and how to make a bag for trickier-shaped gifts.
