Lynton Roadshow
Business Design Centre, London
This year, aesthetic device brand Lynton launched The Lynton Roadshow, a series of in-person events travelling to cities across the UK and Ireland to deliver a day of education, networking and live demos for owners and operators looking to explore the latest advances in aesthetic technologies to take their clinics to the next level. Deputy editor Kezia Parkins went along to the London event, where attendees were greeted by Lynton’s Hayley Jones and Jake Barlow, and included students, keen to boost their knowledge around laser and IPL treatments, as well as clinic owners and other professionals.
Highlights included Dr Uliana Gout’s talk discussing combining peels and laser treatments, Jones’s in-depth explanation of all the different laser technologies, and a live demonstration of Lynton’s new Dynamix device treating thread veins on a model’s face.

366 Days of SPF panel discussion
34 Bloomsbury, London
As part of its 366 Days of SPF campaign, Yorkshire-based skin clinic and retailer Face the Future teamed up with Amy Callaghan, the MP behind the VAT Burn campaign that is petitioning for the UK Government to remove the VAT from all SPF products.
PB’s Kezia was invited to a panel discussion hosted by Face the Future and featuring Callaghan alongside other key voices in sun safety, including Julia Heliocare dermatologist Dr Emma Wedgeworth, melanoma awareness advocate Lisa Costello and British Skin Foundation dermatologist Dr Derrick Phillips. As well as scrapping VAT, the panel stated that the Government needs to do more to encourage the public to protect their skin. Read more about the campaign in our interview with Callaghan on page xx.
