June 2024 marked a successful month for spa businesses, with 84% reporting improved treatment business compared to June 2023. Another 9% experienced stable performance, while only 7% saw a decline. Retail business also showed positive trends, with 45% of spas reporting better sales, 24% remaining the same, and 31% facing a decrease. The average treatment room occupancy was a strong 73%, indicating high client engagement and demand.

Community engagement plays a vital role in the business strategies of many spas. A notable 80% of spa managers and directors have been involved in community events or partnerships to promote their services. These activities not only enhance visibility but also strengthen relationships within the community, boosting the spa’s reputation and client loyalty.
