3D Aesthetics 3D EMlift clinical trial launch
41 Portland Place, London
The team from 3D Aesthetics hosted clinic and salon owners, as well as press including PB editor Eve Oxberry, at 41 Portland Place to announce the results of a clinical trial for its new 3D EMlift device. 3D’s non–executive director Dale Needham opened the event before managing director Roy Cowley outlined how the technology works and how the trail set out to show why high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy and radiofrequency should be the first port of call for anti-ageing, rather than toxin.
Dr Abs Settipalli, the doctor behind the trial, then outlined the findings, which showed that a course of treatment with 3D EMlift led to significant improvement in skin firmness, muscle tone and wrinkles. He compared this with previous studies that have shown that, while botulinum toxin improves wrinkles, it can negatively impact skin laxity in the long term. Dr Jonquille Chantrey also presented at the event, sharing her personal experience using the device as part of a treatment programme in her clinic ØNE aesthetic studiø in Cheshire. The day concluded with a Q&A session with the speakers followed by treatment demos and networking.
