The latest treatment from Aromatherapy Associates supports guests through hormonal changes

Millions experience hormonal imbalances at some point in their lives, as a result of pre-menstrual syndrome, perimenopause, menopause and everything in between. The latest transformative spa treatment from Aromatherapy Associates, Pause & Reset, is designed to help support with the side effects of hormonal change and improve physical and emotional wellbeing at all stages of life.

Pause & Reset from Aromatherapy Associates offers guests an enhanced traditional aromatherapy treatment, combining powerful essential oil blends with expert techniques to ease symptoms that can accompany imbalanced hormones such as anxiety, hot flushes and brain fog, allowing every guest to reclaim balance and comfort while navigating the challenges of hormonal changes.

The treatment begins with an aroma consultation, which is a key element of Aromatherapy Associates’ treatments and makes a guests’ wellbeing experience unique; the guest chooses from three signature blends to find the one most effective for their symptoms. This is followed by a hand and foot reflex treatment to target the endocrine and reproductive system. A restorative abdominal massage soothes, balances, and centres the flow of energy, and body brushing softens and cools the skin. Finally, a 25-minute discovery facial brightens the complexion.

Full support

Support Equilibrium – a blend of rose, geranium and frankincense – was created 38 years ago in clinic by Aromatherapy Associates’ founders for a patient going through the menopause. Since then, it has been used to support an array of hormonal-induced emotions.

Studies now show that 75% of our emotions are triggered by our sense of smell*. Therefore, essential oils can be a key element in a personal toolkit to support most symptoms of hormonal change.

“We are delighted to highlight a blend that I believe has always been a hidden gem in our collection,” says Christina Salcedas, director of education at Aromatherapy Associates. “The new treatment will leave guests feeling recharged, energised and with a positive headspace to go about their day, while feeling more capable and confident. Each guest leaves in a state of equilibrium, no matter what era of their life they are in.”
