AesthetiCare Endocare Growth Factor Facial

Skincare and device distributor AesthetiCare has launched a new intensive collagen boosting treatment for stressed, sun-damaged and ageing skins. The facial uses Endocare products, which contain the snail-derived growth factor complex SCA BioRepair, clinically proven to induce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production.

The 45-minute experience begins with cleansing and exfoliation and the application of Endocare Concentrate. Microneedling then stimulates and regenerates the top layer of the skin, creating an effective delivery system for the Endocare products. Lifting and sculpting facial massage techniques are harnessed to energise and plump the skin, increasing lymphatic drainage and blood circulation and stimulating collagen. The final step is the application of Endocare Growth Mask.

Endocare recommends charging from £140 for a one-off facial and £420 for a course. Call the brand on 0800 019 5322

Carlton Professional Meso Lift Pro Facial

Lasting 45 to 60 minutes, this treatment aims to sculpt facial contours and enhance the condition and appearance of the skin. After cleansing, toning and exfoliation, the new Meso Lift Pro machine delivers microcurrent technology using the single two-ball electrode to reposition the muscles in a firm upward stroking and holding movement.

After approximately 20 minutes, the gel is removed and the desired concentrate or ampoule and cream applied. The application of the electroporation current then assists the products and creams in penetrating deep into the skin. Once the products are totally absorbed, the skin is left fresh, toned and deeply moisturised, says Carlton.

Carlton Professional recommends charging a minimum of £60 (depending on the location). Call the brand on 01903 761100

This month we tried… Nimue Active Rejuvenation Treatment

The lowdown: The latest addition to Nimue Skin Technology’s professional product range is its five highly concentrated Superfluids, compatible with all its professional treatments to allow for a unique, customised experience. I was invited to try them out alongside its Active Rejuvenation Treatment to see exactly how they work.

The Experience: I was lucky enough to have Nimue’s global education manager Eunice Bredenkamp carry out my treatment. It began with the Nimue three-step system, which starts with a deep cleanse followed by a facial massage using the Nimue Conditioner. Bredenkamp made sure to massage the product onto my neck and décolletage as well as my face. This was followed by a non-invasive exfoliating enzyme scrub containing papaya and papain extract to gently remove any dead skin cells.

The next step was the application of the Superfluid, which was mixed with Bio-Active Complex to form the peeling product. Bredenkamp chose the Prebiotic Superfluid as I have problematic skin. She explained how this feeds the good bacteria while counteracting any bad bacteria and excessive oil secretion, which likely contribute to my blemishes.

This was left on for three minutes to temper the intensity, as it was my first treatment.

Peel removed, Bredenkamp neutralised my skin using the Nimue-TDS for problematic skin and applied a collagen face film to hydrate, plump and calm.

The treatment was finished with an extra dab of TDS on my blemishes and application of SPF 40. I was surprised by the immediacy of the results, as my skin looked visibly less red and the swelling around the blemishes was noticeably calmer. The next day my skin was significantly clearer.

Business Benefits: The addition of the Nimue Superfluid in the treatment means that therapists can add an element of “play” to each treatment they deliver, tailoring it to the client’s specific and changing skin needs each time. There is also a commercial benefit in being able to charge more for incorporating a Superfluid into the treatment.

Nimue recommends charging £75-£95. Call distributor Sweet Squared on 0333 000 7000 Tried by Lydia Mormen

Byonik Laser

This new high-tech laser therapy delivers a truly bespoke treatment guided by the client’s heartbeat. Pre-treatment, a clip is attached to the client’s finger to monitor pulse and oxygen saturation levels. Low molecular-weight hyaluronic acid gels are then applied to the face and neck to increase hydration, improve skin elasticity and reduce inflammation.

The laser, triggered by the pulse, determines the precise moment of maximum cell absorption capability to achieve optimal uptake of the gels, stimulating cell metabolism and improving cellular function to tackle the signs of ageing. The 45-minute treatment, which can be fitted into a lunch hour, gives immediate results, has no associated pain or downtime and is suitable for all ages, skin types and skin tones.

Byonik recommends charging a minimum of £220 per treatment. Call distributor Pure Swiss Aesthetics on 01621 828384
