111Skin Exosome Regeneration Facial

Billed as 111Skin’s most advanced treatment yet, the Exosome Regeneration Facial is a 90-minute protocol designed to lift, firm and restore skin vitality. Using bacterial exosomes derived from probiotic strains, the treatment has been designed to enhance the skin barrier and modulate inflammation. It also uses microspicules to accelerate cell renewal for visible rejuvenation. Developed by Dr Yannis Alexandrides, the facial integrates 111Skin’s new Exosome Face Lift, a serum and mask duo, for targeted anti-ageing results. A double cleanse with ultrasonic exfoliation smooths and refines, followed by advanced RF microcurrent using the 111Skin Energy Sculpting Device to tone and boost absorption. The experience concludes with a triple masking ritual featuring the Y Theorem Bio Cellulose, Exosome Overnight and Black Diamond Lifting Masks to leave skin lifted.

111Skin recommends charging £350 for the facial. 111skin.com

Ishga Tides of Change

The lowdown: Scottish spa brand Ishga has launched a 90-minute holistic ritual designed to support people experiencing emotional or hormonal shifts, from menopause and grief to times of general overwhelm. True to Ishga’s Hebridean roots, the treatment draws inspiration from the sea’s cycles of ebb and flow, using the brand’s organic seaweed skincare alongside breathwork, massage and energy-balancing techniques. The aim is to ease tension and bring mind and body back into alignment.

The experience: I tried Tides of Change at The Dorchester Spa in London, where Ishga’s trainer and business development manager Lucy Mingo began by explaining that the treatment focuses on balancing masculine and feminine energies while supporting the lymphatic system and hormonal flow. After a few deep diaphragmatic breaths, the treatment started with a full back massage using warmed Muscle

Recovery Oil, a blend of rose geranium, lavender, may chang, peppermint and seaweed extract. The pressure was gentle but intentional, with long effleurage strokes designed to calm the nervous system. I could feel tension releasing from my shoulders, which are always tied in knots.

Next came the abdominal massage, which I was apprehensive about as I have a phobia of anyone going near my belly button, so I was a bit tense at first but Mingo went slow, using circular and explaining how the technique helps to balance hormones, improve digestion and release emotional tension stored in the core. Once I managed to go with it, it was surprisingly comforting.

The facial element then combined Ishga’s anti-ageing products with a jade roller to lift, tone and cool the skin. The treatment finished with a flowing arm and leg massage, concluding with grounding at the feet.

The verdict: Tides of Change invites the client to deeply connect with the therapist so it needs the confident touch and authentic energy of an experienced holistic therapist. I left The Dorchester feeling centred, with my skin glowing and my mind unusually still. After a 90-minute ritual I was expecting to feel drowsy as I got on with my day but I actually felt very energised.

Business benefits: For clients navigating life transitions, this treatment offers both physical and emotional renewal, which taps into a growing demand for treatments that impact mental wellbeing. It is a strong addition for spas catering to guests seeking holistic healing and emotional balance, rather than just surface-level results.

Swissline Le Grand Soin Au Collagène Pur

The lowdown: Swiss spa skincare brand Swissline made its UK spa debut earlier this year at the Talise Spa in the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Knightsbridge. The brand’s new hero treatment, Le Grand Soin Au Collagène Pur, is a 100-minute facial designed to hydrate, lift and sculpt while reinforcing the skin barrier. It combines two signature elements – 92% Pure Collagen Face Films and Swissline’s Signature Face Sculpting Massage, developed exclusively for the brand by world champion in face massage and previous PB Awards finalist Anna Tsankova. The experience: Walking into the serene Talise Spa, within Jumeirah Carlton Tower, my therapist, Michelle Choi, greeted me and after a brief consultation, she explained that the treatment would not only rejuvenate my skin but also work on relieving muscle tension and stimulating circulation through the sculpting massage.

The facial began with a gentle cleanse and exfoliation, followed by a botanical massage cream to prepare the skin. Then came the Signature Face Sculpting Massage; a, flowing sequence blending lymphatic drainage, fascia release and muscle lifting techniques. Choi’s movements were fluid yet purposeful, intuitively focusing on areas of tightness around my jaw and temples. It felt both relaxing and energising, almost like a workout for the face.

Next, she applied the Pure Collagen Face Films – thin, almost translucent sheets composed of 92% pure collagen, scientifically engineered to mimic the skin’s own structure. Choi explained that these act like a “refill” for depleted collagen stores, helping to plump fine lines and reinforce the skin’s barrier. As they hydrated on my skin, I could feel a subtle tightening effect, followed by an incredible cooling sensation that left my face feeling instantly soothed and revived.

To finish, she layered on Swissline’s Cell Shock formulas rich in marine collagen, peptides and mimetic growth factors, sealing in moisture and luminosity. After a final scalp massage, I looked in the mirror to find my complexion visibly brighter, smoother and more sculpted.

The verdict: This facial is like a full sensory reset for skin and mind. My cheekbones looked more defined, expression lines softened, and my skin had a glass-like radiance. The Signature Face Sculpting Massage alone was worth the visit – Choi’s skilled hands seemed to lift away not just tension but hours of screen fatigue.

Business benefits: For spas, Le Grand Soin Au Collagène Pur delivers a premium experience that justifies its positioning in the luxury facial category. The results are instantly visible yet deeply restorative, appealing to clients seeking non-invasive rejuvenation.

Elemis Bespoke Glow

The lowdown: The Elemis Bespoke Glow facial harnesses the power of LED plasma light therapy, starting with a deep cleanse and gentle exfoliation to prep the skin, followed by a red, blue or green light therapy to deliver radiant, refreshed skin, all in a relaxing 30-minute facial.

The experience: I visited the launch of the new Champneys x Elemis suite at Champneys Tring. It was lovely to explore the spa before visiting the new suite, which is situated among the other spa facilities, maintaining the relaxing atmosphere.

On entering the treatment room, my therapist Ellie Marshall explained the steps of the facial to me. We discussed which LED treatment would be the most suitable for my skin concerns, and I chose the blue light therapy to target blemishes. The first step was then a deep cleanse with Elemis’s viral Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm, followed by a gentle exfoliation to prepare the skin before the LED blue light therapy.

The verdict: The facial was an extremely relaxing experience, and I was really pleased with the results. My skin was left feeling refreshed and looking positively glowing. The overall experience was extremely gentle and calming, and it was fantastic to see such immediate results.

Business benefits: Great for clients seeking an instant glow, this express facial delivers results in minimal time making it an ideal choice for those who love a good facial but have a busy schedule. This 30-minute treatment refreshes skin and leaves it glowing from the inside out, meaning clients will walk away feeling radiant and relaxed. Furthermore, the LED therapy will leave the patients wanting more in order to maximise results.
