British Beauty Week Industry Hub

Royal Society of Arts, London

As part of British Beauty Week, British Beauty Council (BBCo) hosted an Industry Hub event, with panel discussions, live demos and series of AI beauty tech experiences. Before it all began, press, including PB editor Eve Oxberry, were invited to a breakfast where BBCo chief executive Millie Kendall spoke about the beauty industry’s 1.1% contribution to the UK GDP before introducing Luciana Berger, a member of the House of Lords, then MP Kate Dearden, both of whom spoke on the strength of the industry. BBCo also introduced rugby player Tatyana Heard as its first sports ambassador. Eve caught up with industry friends and stuck around to watch iconic MUAs including Val Garland and Dominic Skinner demo their talents. Meanwhile, the lively panel discussions included Laying the Foundations: Shaping Future Talent, Responsibly, and Predicting Tomorrow’s Beauty, Today: Exploring the Future of Beauty.

pHformula Skin Revolution 2025

11 Cavendish Square, London

Energy was high at pHformula’s Skin Revolution Event, held at London’s No.11 Cavendish Square. The day-long education and networking experience brought together skin specialists from across the UK, Ireland and further afield to celebrate innovation, connection and the science behind next-generation skin resurfacing. After a warm welcome (and breakfast baps), Aspire & Co managing director Pam Cushing kicked off proceedings before handing over to Dianna van Sittert, head of pHformula’s Art Club in South Africa, for a series of hands-on sessions. Attendees, including PB features editor Ellen Cummings, enjoyed live demonstrations of the brand’s latest clinical launches, including the Mesoresurfacing Concentrate, Exos, and TCA Touch 12% and 20%, showcasing customisable solutions for skin rejuvenation. Between sessions, guests networked over lunch and connected with the pHformula team, leaving armed with practical insights for their businesses.

Spa Well networking event

Myndstream, London

Spa industry professionals gathered at Myndstream’s White City offices for the latest networking event from Spa Well, a company founded by former spa director Sara Young. Guests, including Eve, began the afternoon with a gentle yoga class led by instructors from fitness business Les Mills, then a breathwork session with Jamie Clements of The Breath Space, accompanied by live music. The sessions help attendees to pause and reset before an afternoon of networking. Guests then enjoyed relaxed discussions and introductions over refreshments. Companies including Comfort Zone, Kloris and Technoalpin showcased their brands and there was also an onstage interview between Clements and Myndstream managing director Freddie Moross, after which many guest continued on to nearby bar Dear Grace for drinks.

Grown Alchemist Regenerating Range launch event

Repose Space, London

In a press launch held at wellness venue Repose Space in Kensington, Grown Alchemist introduced its new Regenerating Range with a day of discovery. Beauty editors including Eve were given an introduction to the new range and its focus on cellular renewal and barrier support (see page 77). Following the presentation and questions, attendees were invited to experience Repose Space’s signature bio-hacking therapies, which include red light therapy and cryotherapy, designed to complement the new skincare line’s regenerative ethos. Eve tried out the contrast therapy, alternating between an infrared sauna and a cold plunge pool for a treatment designed to boost energy, improve sleep and relieve stress. Guests all left with the range to try out at home.

South Lodge Spa vinotherapy treatment launch

South Lodge, Horsham

To celebrate the first-ever harvest from its on-site vineyard, South Lodge hotel and spa invited members of the press, including PB content writer Josie Jackson, to experience its newest vinotherapy treatment in collaboration with skincare brand Pelegrims.

Beginning the visit with a stroll around the vineyard, guests were then invited to sit in on a Q&A panel exploring the partnership, with key voices from South Lodge, Ridgeview and Pelegrims. While staying in The Reeds – South Lodge’s luxurious lakeside cabins – guests enjoyed a harvest dinner in the wine cellar, before starting the following morning with a refreshing wild swim. After a leisurely breakfast, Josie headed over to the spa, where she got to indulge in the new Fresh Leaf Fusion Face & Body Treatment – an 80-minute treatment featuring a warm herbal poultice massage designed to promote ultimate relaxation.

L.Raphael Beauty Spa & Wellness launch

The Grand Hotel, Brighton

The iconic Grand Hotel in Brighton invited press, including PB editorial assistant Connie Cooper, to experience the launch of L.Raphael Beauty Spa & Wellness. Following an afternoon tea and introduction to the hotel and new launch from hotel manager Murray Wilson, guests headed down to the spa and wellness facilities. There, L.Raphael chief operating officer Mickaël Lamothe shared the philosophy and science behind the Swiss luxury skincare and beauty brand. The launch of the spa is L.Raphael’s first introduction into the English market, and guests received products from its latest green caviar cellular repair range as well as trying a green caviar facial. This was followed by mindful sound bath before use of the spa’s thermal and hydrotherapy suites. The evening came to a close with a drinks reception and three-course meal in the hotel’s Albert Room, incorporating the brand’s philosophy of the seven pillars of beauty.

Cellis launch event

Nexus Club, London

Renowned facialist and laser expert Debbie Thomas launched her first products in September, celebrating the introduction with an evening launch party held at members’ club Nexus. Guests including PB’s Eve and Ellen went along to check out the new skincare collection which is a capsule range of a cleanser, a vitamin C serum, a vitamin A serum and microfibre cloths, designed to help repair, renew and protect the skin barrier. Thomas introduced the brand, explaining it had taken seven years of research and development to reach this stage. “Cellis is a direct response to what I’ve witnessed in clinic: too many products, too much confusion, and not enough real impact,” she said. Guests were treated to champagne, cocktails and canapés, before leaving with products to try at home.

Evolve Organic Beauty aromatherapy range launch

Arc, London

Evolve Organic Beauty unveiled its new aromatherapy range with an immersive wellness event at Arc in Canary Wharf. The launch captured the brand’s ethos of natural, sensory-led wellbeing through a guided contrast therapy class, combining sauna heat with invigorating cold plunges. Guests, including Ellen, were guided through Evolve’s four essential oil blends: Vital Clarity, Wild Divine, Zen Whisper and Joyful Light. Each has been designed to complement the body’s natural rhythms, enhance mood and support holistic self-care. The session included abdominal lymphatic drainage techniques, encouraging mindful breathing and connection to the body.
