Insider beauty
With September being the first full month beauty salons have been able to operate their businesses after coronavirus lockdown, it’s not surprising that the pandemic has had an impact on revenue. Treatment appointments are heavily down compared to 2019’s figures, with 72% of you stating that business is worse in comparison to last year, while your retail sales have taken a similar hit. Your treatment occupancy has also only come in at a humble 52%.
The way to get your business thriving again could be to focus on marketing your most popular services, particularly the ones that bring in that all-important regular business. For example, for more than a third of you (36%) lifts are your most sought-after lash treatment, followed closely by a tint (35%), and securing client loyalty for those services is key.
